A useful fit for

A household that wants an enclosed rotating clumping-litter system, has cats older than six months and can verify the exact chamber volume and entry dimensions in the current manual.

The main tradeoff

Published interior capacity conflicts sharply (75 L versus 51.7 L); do not make it an essential fit. No numeric household cat capacity or complete cycle duration is confirmed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the exact plan use the entry and litter style you require?

Yes when you choose enclosed globe entry and clumping litter. The exact manual’s litter particle limits still apply.

Does your youngest cat meet the stricter exact manual age boundary?

Use the manual boundary of 7 months for the matcher; for the models whose manual says older than six months, that means a complete seven months.

Does the maker publish a numeric household cat capacity for this model or set?

No. The product page may discuss app profiles or a multi-cat household, but that is not the same as a rated number of cats. A required numeric capacity remains unknown.

Does one exact purchase include two machines?

No. This product page describes one litter-box machine; a separate bundle listing is needed for two units.

What the SC02 changes

MW-SC02 is Meowant’s enclosed rotating-chamber option with an app-connected routine and a published body measuring 19.3 by 19.3 by 21.45 inches. The product page names white and gray, with liner-pack combinations; the white option appears under a second product handle and uses its own “W” code. Treat the option labels as real package identifiers and confirm the carton label if you are matching a replacement part. Extra liners do not make this a second machine.

Compared with the smaller-front-entry SC01, the SC02 page publishes a 6.1-inch entrance figure and a 3.6-liter waste container. That entrance number is not a doorway width and does not establish the step height from every floor or mat. Leave clearance around the full case for the rotating mechanism, the drawer and service. The dimensions are a start for a tape measure, not proof that the chamber fits inside a cabinet or beneath a shelf.

A clumping plan with a serious volume conflict

The SC02 rotates litter and screens waste into its lower bin. The exact user manual supports small-particle clumping litter, rather than crystals or washable granules. The manual and the FAQ describe a 51.7-liter chamber while the current product page headline says 75 liters. That is a material disagreement, so this assessment leaves interior volume unresolved. If space for a particular cat is the deciding point, inspect the physical chamber and current revision rather than choosing from the 75-liter headline.

App functions are an extra layer, not the operating plan itself. The model documentation calls for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for connected functions; don’t assume a 5 GHz-only network will pair. A home can use the maker’s controls and records, but the inspected sources do not establish a numeric cat-capacity rating or a full cleaning-cycle time. A status history is not a clinical measurement. If you need a guaranteed two-cat rating, individual identity accuracy, or a strict minutes-to-finish limit, the SC02 cannot answer that requirement on the evidence reviewed.

Age and cat weight are separate gates

The exact SC02 manual says cats should be older than six months. Because the questionnaire accepts whole months, use seven months as the first unambiguously older-than-six answer. The product page and FAQ give a 3-to-22-pound cat range. Both thresholds matter: reaching the minimum weight does not override the age rule. Do not treat the published 44-pound total load as a cat-weight maximum; total appliance load is a different number.

This stricter age threshold distinguishes the SC02 from the SC01, whose manual permits use from four months. If a household has a younger kitten, a mixed SC01/SC02 package inherits the SC02 restriction; separate machines do not allow the package’s more permissive model to speak for the other one. In any model, follow the manufacturer’s transition guidance and keep a familiar litter box available until the cat is using the new machine normally.

Expect owner checks and cleaning

Automation moves waste out of the chamber, but the drawer still needs regular inspection. The product-page and manual size numbers cannot establish days between emptying; cat size, number of visits and litter clumps change the actual fill rate. The manual calls for regular liner replacement and periodic drum washing. Empty sooner if the bin-full signal appears or waste is not dropping cleanly. Keep the base and electrical contacts dry, and follow the cleaning sequence before removing the rotating assembly.

For a first week, use a stable, level location and introduce the unit gradually. Keep the previous box beside it and avoid automatic cycles until the cat has explored it, as the maker’s FAQ recommends. That takes some supervision, which matters if the purpose of buying is to stop checking the litter area altogether. The app is not a substitute for looking at the waste bin or responding to a jam.

Who this model suits—and who should pass

Consider the SC02 if an enclosed rotating chamber, 2.4 GHz app connection and clumping litter match the household, cats are above the manual’s age threshold and within the published weight range, and the measured room can accommodate the case. The separate SC01 offers a lower 4.8-inch entrance and a four-month age instruction but has its own conflicting weight/drawer claims. The open-top SC10 offers a different entrance experience; it is not simply a larger SC02.

Pass if your cat is younger than seven months, your network lacks 2.4 GHz, you require a confirmed 75-liter capacity, need a rated number of cats, or require a known complete-cycle time. Those are not minor preferences if they are essential: unknown or contradictory information is not a match. Check the package’s exact model code and included liner count before ordering, and compare the current manual with the listing rather than relying on a generic “automatic” label.
