Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the MeowgicPod fit a semi-open rotating sifter plan with the litter you intend to use?
The LB10 Prime is a semi-open rotating/sifting chamber. MOVA lists bentonite, mineral, tofu and mixed litter, but its applicable tofu/mixed sieve is sold separately; crystal and cassava are excluded.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the stated cat-weight guide cover the cats using automatic mode?
MOVA's page gives 1.5–10 kg guidance, while the manual says pets must weigh over 1.5 kg. The product materials do not specify a minimum age or numeric cat-count rating.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the connected plan work on your required Wi-Fi band?
The manual specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth for connected use. On-device buttons can start cleaning, but app reporting and adjustable schedules/delays use the connected plan.
Explore this need in the finder →Can tofu or mixed litter be used without an extra sifting plate?
No. MOVA lists tofu and mixed litter compatibility but says the applicable sieve is sold separately; the base package includes one standard plate. If the suitable tofu/mixed plate must be in the box, this listing does not meet that need.
Explore this need in the finder →A semi-open rotating pod, not a familiar covered globe
MOVA’s MeowgicPod LB10 Prime cleans by rotating a sifting chamber after the cat leaves. Its semi-open dome leaves a large front opening, so it sits between a fully enclosed globe and an exposed open-top tray. That is the key choice: the opening may feel less cave-like than a small front portal, but it still puts the cat inside a moving chamber. A cat that dislikes rotating litter boxes, or a household that specifically wants an open pan, should compare a static rake tray or an open-top sifter instead.
MOVA advertises a 110-liter semi-open space, but that headline is not the usable litter bed. The same materials describe a 78-liter inner ball, while the specification lists 6 liters of litter capacity and an 11-liter waste bin. Those separate measurements matter more for setup and upkeep than the overall dome volume. The 15-day scoop-free figure is a maker estimate from in-house testing with adult cats around 4.2 kg; MOVA itself says visits change the result. Treat it as promotional context, not a reliable interval or a reason to leave the bin unchecked.
Choose the actual litter, not just “clumping”
The U.S. page names bentonite, mineral, tofu, and mixed litter, but the product ships with one standard sifting plate. MOVA says the applicable sieve for tofu and mixed litter is sold separately. That makes an exact litter answer important: a household switching from bentonite to tofu should budget for the correct plate and verify the current package before ordering. Crystal and cassava litter are explicitly excluded. The 6-liter fill limit also means not to pour to the top of the pod; use the fill guidance rather than treating its large shell as a deeper tray.
For a straightforward mineral or bentonite plan, the standard plate is the documented included setup. Tofu or mixed litter can be a workable plan only if you buy the separately listed sieve. If having that sieve included in the box is non-negotiable, this listing does not satisfy that requirement. The litter sifter is a system-specific consumable, not an interchangeable filter from another rotary machine.
Cat fit, app needs, and unknown limits
MOVA’s U.S. page gives a 1.5–10 kg guide, while the LB10A manual states that the applicable range is for pets weighing over 1.5 kg. The lower edge should not be read as a guarantee for an animal exactly at that boundary; ask the manufacturer if that distinction matters. The 10 kg ceiling is the product page’s guide, not a measured fit test for every body shape. Although MOVA uses “multi-cat” language and describes weight-based pet profiles, it does not publish a numeric household-capacity rating. A profile feature is not proof that one station is rated for two, three, or more cats.
The unit has physical buttons for leveling, cleaning, and emptying, so basic cleaning can be initiated on the appliance. Connecting the MOVA app adds records and controls, including schedules and cleaning-delay settings. The manual requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for setup and lists Bluetooth; do not choose it if a connected feature must work on 5 GHz only. The basic device plan avoids relying on the app for the cleaning command, but it also gives up remote monitoring and the app’s adjustable routines.
Maintenance is still part of the plan
The waste drawer is an 11-liter removable bin. The manual recommends cleaning the litter box about every 30 days, refilling deodorizing liquid about every 30 days depending on use, and replacing the carbon filter when alerted or after roughly 30 days (it says the filter may be aired out and reused). These are maker directions, not a promise that a busy household can wait a month. Check the drawer and odor supplies regularly, and clean sooner when needed. The package list includes one carbon filter, deodorizing liquid, bags, a waste bin, and one sifting plate; those supplies will eventually need replenishment.
There is a small specification conflict worth resolving before planning a tight move or lifting routine. The product page lists the unit at 12.5 kg and gives dimensions of 552 × 583 × 764 mm; the manual lists 12.9 kg and repeats the dimensions without assigning axes. Leave exact weight and width/depth matching open, and measure the actual room, route, and service space. The 30.2 dB figure is attributed to a third party by MOVA, not an independent measurement here.
Who should shortlist it?
The LB10 Prime is a candidate for an adult-cat household that wants a semi-open rotating sifter, can use a supported litter with its matching plate, and is comfortable with a large powered appliance and regular drawer checks. It offers meaningful choices between local button operation and connected 2.4 GHz reporting. Skip it when a numeric cat-capacity rating, a particular footprint dimension, a 5 GHz-only connection, included tofu sieve, crystal litter, or a fully open tray is essential.
Compare an enclosed Whisker or PetSnowy globe if the cat prefers a more enclosed entry, and compare the Neakasa M1 or PetPivot AutoScooper if an open-top sifting chamber is the priority. Those are different entry and cleaning arrangements, not interchangeable claims about capacity. For the white finish, the manufacturer’s separate U.S. product record shows the same LB10 Prime in a finish-only configuration; this review covers both gray and white rather than treating color as another machine.
