A useful fit for

A candidate when camera-based activity and the product page’s dual-band app support are genuine requirements.

The main tradeoff

The lower cat weight/age, drawer volume and exact Pro manual remain unknown. Do not reuse standard C41 manual limits.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does C41 Pro document an app-connected camera and face-identification features?

The exact product page describes an HD camera, live view/recording, night vision and facial identification; accuracy and privacy are not independently tested.

Does the Pro page document both 2.4 and 5 GHz app bands?

Yes. The exact C41 Pro page states support for both bands, unlike the shared standard-C41 manual’s 2.4 GHz requirement.

Is the C41 Pro minimum automatic-use weight confirmed at 3 lb?

No. The exact Pro page gives a 30-pound upper guide, but its lower threshold and minimum age remain unknown without the Pro manual.

The C41's rotating design with a camera-led app

UBPet C41 Pro is the camera-equipped version of the C41 semi-open rotating litter box. The same general cleaning idea separates clumps from reusable litter as the chamber rotates, but the Pro adds a front camera, night-vision/live-view and recording claims, facial recognition for individual-cat activity, and app monitoring. If the camera is the reason to choose this model, verify that you actually want a camera pointed at the litter area and that everyone in the home is comfortable with the account, storage and notification choices.

The US product page says its app supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks, while the standard C41 manual requires 2.4 GHz. It also claims up to 30 cat profiles and individual visit records. A profile ceiling is not a recommendation for 30 cats sharing one unit. The page describes camera controls, including an option to disable it through the app, and says access has no subscription fee. Those are current manufacturer-page claims, not an audit of cloud-retention or privacy practices; read the linked privacy terms and test the disable control before relying on it.

Useful distinction: feature proof is not health diagnosis

Face recognition and usage summaries can help organize observations in a multi-cat home, particularly when you cannot tell which cat was in the box. But identity can fail when cats look alike, lighting or posture changes, or the camera is disabled. A change in reported visit frequency or weight is a reason to observe and, when appropriate, consult a veterinarian—not a health assessment from the machine. The standard C41 also reports usage data without a camera. If you mainly want automatic sifting, its lower-complexity feature set may be enough.

UBPet lists a maximum cat weight of 30 pounds, a 106-liter chamber, 22-pound unit weight and 24.8 by 20 by 22.5 inch product dimensions (length, width, height). A separate entry-height number is not clearly published for the C41 Pro, so do not transfer the standard C41 page's low-entry figure as an exact Pro fit measurement. Likewise, the C41/C42 manual is not identified as a C41 Pro guide. The Pro's minimum cat weight and minimum age remain unknown; the product page only supplies an upper weight limit. If either a kitten's age or weight is an essential automatic-mode condition, ask for the Pro's exact manual rather than assuming the standard C41 directions apply.

Check litter and routine before choosing the camera

The C41 Pro page describes clumping litter with particles up to ten millimeters and illustrates bentonite, mixed, mineral and tofu litter types. Treat those as the manufacturer's named compatibility examples, and keep material within the listed size. The product image and listing show a removable drum, a covered waste-bin area and a replaceable deodorizer; check the exact package and bag dimensions before ordering supplies. The page does not give a numeric waste-bin volume for this exact model. It says the bin can hold about a week of use, but that is a marketing claim rather than an interval to schedule blindly, especially in multi-cat homes.

The product page advertises noise at or below 42 dB; no independent acoustic measurement is available here. It advertises safety sensors and a physical anti-pinch structure as well. A moving appliance still needs routine inspection: keep litter and bags out of the moving path, check for error lights, and follow the exact setup instructions. The captured C41/C42 manual documents firm, level placement, drum removal and drying after washing, but because it does not name C41 Pro as a supported product, its detailed servicing directions are not represented as Pro-specific instructions. Ask UBPet for the Pro manual if access to exact cleaning steps is important.

How the Pro compares with C31 and C41

The C41 keeps a similar semi-open rotary arrangement and 6.7-liter listed bin but has a documented 2.4 GHz setup requirement, no camera feature, and a manufacturer manual that names C41. The C41 Pro is the one to shortlist when dual-band network support and camera-based cat identification are non-negotiable. The C31 is a visibly different open-top rake, with an exposed bed and its own litter-size and kitten guidance. It may be easier for a cat that avoids a rotating chamber, but it should not be treated as an open-top version of the same cycle.

For a camera-free home, a cat whose minimum age or weight must be established, or a buyer who needs a published bin capacity and exact maintenance manual, the Pro page leaves material questions unanswered. Prefer the standard C41 if its verified limits and 2.4 GHz connection fit. If you choose the Pro, check the app's current camera-storage controls, supplied consumables and instructions at delivery; do not rely on generic C41 documentation or the promise of “AI” to answer a medical or safety question.
