Model differences

UBPet C31 vs C41 vs C41 Pro: rake, rotary chamber or camera

UBPet's C31, C41 and C41 Pro are not three finishes of one machine. Their entry, cleaning path, litter limits and connected features differ enough that the cat and room should decide the order of comparison.

Start with entry shape and how your cat uses a box

The C31 is the open-top option: a dual rake moves across a visible bed of litter. It avoids a rotating enclosure but can leave litter and odor less contained. The C41 and C41 Pro use semi-open rotating chambers. Their entrance remains broad and relatively low, while the chamber turns to separate waste. A cat that is wary of moving or enclosed equipment may prefer a gradual introduction or a conventional backup box, regardless of which product page calls a design “easy access.”

Then match litter and limits to the exact model

The C31 page names bentonite, mineral and cassava litter, rejects long strands and gives a twelve-millimeter particle ceiling alongside an eight-millimeter rake gap. Its FAQ says to use manual mode for cats younger than six months, under 3.3 pounds, or with limited mobility. The C41 page advertises a 2.2-to-30-pound range, but its shared C41/C42 guide gives a more conservative floor of three pounds and four months; the comparison treats that exact-model guide as the threshold. It allows clumping litter or beads/crystals under 15 millimeters. C41 Pro has a 30-pound upper guide and lists clumping examples up to ten millimeters, but its minimum age and weight remain unverified because its exact manual was not located.

Buy the camera only if its particular value matters

C31 and C41 both offer app activity or usage data; a count of cat profiles is not the number of cats a single unit is rated to serve, and usage data is not a diagnosis. C41 Pro adds a camera, face-based identification and stated 2.4/5 GHz support. Its page says the camera can be disabled in the app and describes storage and subscription terms, which are worth checking directly if other people share the home. For ordinary sifting, compare the camera-free C41 before paying for a feature you may not use.

Room fit also differs in certainty. C41 and C41 Pro publish 24.8 by 20 by 22.5 inches and 22 pounds, but the Pro's exact entrance threshold is not verified from its own manual. C31 lists 28 by 19 by 7.6 inches without axis labels. Keep clearances, bin access and cleaning space in your plan, and don't rely on an unlabeled dimension sequence to solve a narrow doorway.

For detailed limits and open questions, read the C31 assessment, the C41 assessment and the C41 Pro assessment. Each uses only its own page or explicitly identified manual evidence; the C31 support PDF is labeled for that model but names UCAT C30 inside, so its instructions are not transferred as C31 facts.
