Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does this setup require an enclosed rotating globe with built-in cameras and app activity reporting?
Yes, the current Scoop Robot Pro product listing presents an enclosed chamber, two cameras and CATLINK app reporting. Camera/video cloud service has an initial trial and separate paid plans after it.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the selected package include the automatic litter-refiller module?
Choose CL-CK-01-R or CL-CK-01-RS for the option that includes the separately described 4L litter refiller; the base SKU does not include it.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the model be confirmed for a three-cat household or a specified kitten weight?
No numerical cat capacity or exact-model age/weight boundary is published on the current U.S. product page; leave those fields unknown, so an essential cat-count/weight/age filter excludes it.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the base footprint fit a 21.3-inch width and 25.2-inch depth allowance?
Those are the manufacturer’s listed base dimensions; the refill option increases height but not the listed footprint.
Explore this need in the finder →An enclosed globe with a wider advertised entrance
CATLINK’s Scoop Robot Pro (base U.S. SKU CL-CK-01) is an enclosed capsule that rotates litter across a sifting screen, dropping waste into a drawer while retaining reusable litter. It contrasts with the CATLINK Scooper Open-X, whose rotating litter chamber stays open at the top. The Pro’s advertised 17-inch-wide entrance is generous on paper, but cannot predict whether an individual cat will accept a moving, enclosed box.
Its clearest draws are interior and exterior cameras, advertised included multi-cat recognition, app visit/litter reports, and an optional automatic litter refiller. CATLINK says recognition is included without a separate unlock, but does not give a rated household size. Tracking is not a capacity guarantee.
Measure the actual room, not only the doorway
The U.S. listing gives the base unit as 21.3 inches wide, 25.2 deep and 32.1 high. The refiller option keeps the footprint but increases height to 35.6 inches; the entrance is advertised at 17 inches wide. Plan for the full unit and room to open the drawer—not just the doorway or space beneath a shelf. CATLINK’s setup guide calls for a level location and clearance around the machine.
The same product listing conflicts about waste storage: its feature description says 12 liters and up to 14 days for one cat; a gallery panel instead says 15 liters and up to 20 days, repeated in CATLINK’s comparison page. I would not treat either maximum as a safe emptying schedule. The exact volume and multi-cat interval are unclear. Check and empty the drawer as needed; the refill hopper does not remove waste.
Four listing configurations change what arrives
The U.S. page offers four SKUs: base CL-CK-01; with the 4-liter app-connected refiller, CL-CK-01-R; with ramp, CL-CK-01-LBPS; and both add-ons, CL-CK-01-RS. The refiller monitors litter level and can add litter through the app; installed height rises to 35.6 inches. The ramp changes the approach, not the cleaning mechanism. CATLINK says add-ons may ship separately, so check the selected SKU before assuming a second parcel is missing.
The base box list includes the machine, waste bin, sift filter, brush, waste bag and odor eliminator, not the optional refiller or ramp. Do not assume a hopper pictured in an advertisement comes with CL-CK-01.
Use a compatible clumping litter and verify operating limits
CATLINK describes a screen-based clumping-litter sifter, and its current setup guide favors firm-clumping clay. Support warns against non-clumping and wood-pellet litter. Do not assume crystal, long tofu or every “natural” litter will work. The U.S. page states no exact-model weight range, kitten threshold or rated cat count. For a kitten, unusually large cat or essential household limit, get current written guidance before enabling automatic cleaning.
The current setup guide says a full manual is included, but the support-page download leads to a 2023 manual for the older Scooper Pro-X, not CL-CK-01. Do not transfer that manual’s maintenance or safety instructions to this model. Obtain the current manual before disassembling or washing parts; the model-specific guide covers level placement and first use, not a full maintenance protocol.
Cameras are useful only if the connected plan suits you
The product page advertises two cameras, individual-cat recognition and app visit, behavior and litter-level information, plus a one-year complimentary cloud-video trial. CATLINK says video is event-based rather than continuous and lists paid plans per device after the trial. If long-term video history matters, check current subscription and account terms. Consider camera placement in private rooms. Odor-treatment claims do not replace drawer changes and cleaning.
Who should choose it—and when another shape is better
Consider the Pro if you want an enclosed globe, two cameras, included tracking and app monitoring in a large unit. Wi-Fi is unsettled: the product page says 5 GHz, its current setup guide says dual-band, and generic support says 2.4 GHz only. Confirm the band your unit accepts before making it essential.
If your cat prefers an open litter surface, the reviewed CATLINK Scooper Open-X (Multi-Cat) is the direct shape alternative. If cameras are not essential, the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin offers an enclosed clumping-litter design with a clearer published cat-weight boundary. Neither fixes the Pro’s unknown age, weight and capacity limits. Choose it for the camera/tracking features—not the assumption that a wide entrance guarantees fit or that a “20 days” claim means the drawer can go unchecked.
