A useful fit for

A candidate when a household wants the Ease S1's open-top rotation plus the manufacturer's app-connected control, usage information and activity alert, and can use mineral/bentonite clumping litter.

The main tradeoff

App reporting adds network dependence but no verified numeric cat-capacity rating, individual-cat identification or camera. The machine still needs frequent owner inspection, drawer emptying and monthly tray cleaning; the maker's up-to-14-day marketing claim is longer than its manual's 3–5 day emptying advice.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the app-connected Pro meet a requirement for both 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

Oneisall lists dual-band Wi-Fi for the Pro. Do not transfer that capability to the separate standard-control S1.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must one same-machine operating plan provide app reporting?

Yes, the Pro listing documents an app-connected plan for remote controls and use information. The standard CB01AAU/CB01AWU is the no-app alternative.

Explore this need in the finder →
Does the Pro suit a household requiring an open-top rotating clumping-litter plan?

The CB01 Pro retains the open-top rotating sifter; its manual directs mineral/bentonite clumping litter. The optional tofu guard conflicts with that current manual language, so tofu is not treated as a confirmed plan.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can the youngest cat meet the manual's minimum age for automatic mode?

The manual says not suitable under six months. Also check the separate 2.6 lb minimum; meeting the age criterion alone is not enough.

Does the smallest cat weigh at least the documented minimum?

The manual cautions against use under 2.6 lb. This is an independent filter from the six-month minimum age.

The Ease S1 Pro is the app-connected version of Oneisall’s CB01 open-top rotating litter machine. Its core tray and drawer are the same idea as the standard Ease S1, but the Pro adds remote controls, usage tracking and activity alerts. The standard S1 uses physical controls without a documented litter-box app. If app visibility or both common Wi-Fi bands matter, compare the Pro; if not, the standard version avoids unnecessary connectivity. This is based on manufacturer material, not hands-on testing.

Connectivity is the meaningful Pro difference

The Pro remains an open-top rectangular chamber with a rotating litter tray, not an enclosed globe. After the cat leaves, the machine waits five minutes for clumps to set before it rotates the tray and sifts waste into the drawer. The listing describes app control over 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, plus Bluetooth pairing. The app can show use information and alert if there is no activity; those logs are not a medical diagnosis, and the public material does not establish individual-cat recognition or a camera. If you only need an automated cleaning cycle and want to avoid app dependence, the standard S1 is the closer match.

Connectivity does not replace the physical controls for manual mode, starting a clean or leveling litter. The manual lists radar, weight, infrared and motor-stall protections; those maker descriptions are not independent safety tests or a guarantee. For pregnant or nursing cats, Oneisall recommends Manual Cleaning Mode. Supervise the transition and do not treat app alerts as a substitute for checking the box.

Use the documented litter plan

Oneisall’s CB01 manual says mineral/bentonite clumping litter only and excludes crystal, corn and cassava litter. The product selector also offers a larger-hole guard described as compatible with mixed or tofu litter. Because the current manual’s safety/use restrictions are narrower than that accessory description, I would not count the Pro as a confirmed tofu or mixed-litter option without a revised manual or explicit written guidance for this model and guard. This matters even if an app-connected version is otherwise attractive: a litter-type need should be met by one documented operating plan, not by combining an uncertain accessory claim with a different default configuration.

The published specifications list an 11 L waste drawer and an upper cat-weight guide of 30 lb. The manual warns against use for a cat below 2.6 lb or younger than six months. I treat both minimum conditions conservatively; meeting only one should not be assumed sufficient. The maker gives no numerical cat-capacity rating, so neither the Pro’s tracking screen nor a two- or three-box package supports a stated number of cats per machine. A usage log may help you notice changes in activity, but it cannot identify the cat or establish a health condition from the sources reviewed.

Do not mistake an advertised interval for maintenance freedom

The product page advertises up to 14 days for one cat. The manual’s care instructions instead say to empty every three to five days to reduce odor and bacterial growth. The manual is the more useful routine to plan around: inspect the drawer, remove the bag, and replenish litter when needed. Oneisall also recommends at least monthly cleaning of the litter tray assembly and full-cover pad. Water can be used on the removable tray parts as directed, but the manual says not to submerge or directly rinse the base or drive boxes. The owner still handles drawer emptying, litter top-ups, setup and periodic washing.

At 22.05 × 23.03 × 21.97 inches (L × W × H), this is a substantial countertop-sized appliance rather than a small pan. The maker calls for a level, hard floor and two to four inches of clearance around the unit; carpet is not suitable. The waste drawer can mount on either side, so plan around the route you will use to remove it. Entry width, internal headroom and step height are not published in the sources reviewed. A “step-in” package may change the approach, but without a dimension it cannot be treated as a quantified access solution.

Packages and practical alternatives

The official catalog lists the Pro as a gray CB01BAU base configuration, along with an optional step, a purifier set, a litter-mat package, a larger-hole litter guard, and two- and three-machine sets. There are also combined packages that add a feeder and water fountain. These are package choices around the same S1 Pro mechanism; they do not create a larger waste drawer or a verified cat-capacity rating. Confirm the exact SKU and included hardware if a package matters. One purifier listing repeats a SKU using a different “Fresh Cat Home” offer title, so I would not infer that the contents or quantity match without clarification.

For the same cleaning design without a phone app, compare the standard Ease S1. Other open-top rotary choices include the Neakasa M1 Plus and PetPivot AutoScooper 11; each has its own fit and litter conditions. If the must-have is a dual-band app connection, compare exact manufacturer network requirements before choosing any alternative because many competing litter-box apps specify 2.4 GHz only. A camera-based box is not a direct substitute for S1 Pro activity logs: a camera, usage record and individual-cat identification are separate capabilities.

Who should choose the Pro?

The S1 Pro is the better fit when an app-connected cleaning plan, activity records or alerts matter, and the home can supply its documented Wi-Fi bands. It is a weaker choice when the household wants a simple offline device, needs crystal or confidently documented tofu-litter support, has a cat below the manual’s age or weight conditions, or must know the machine’s rated multi-cat capacity. Check the stated room footprint and leave space to service the drawer. The standard version preserves the same rotating-sifter idea without the app requirement; neither version removes the need for regular inspection and waste disposal.

Litter and care limitsThe CB01 manual says mineral/bentonite clumping litter only and excludes crystal, corn and cassava-based litter. Product options advertise an alternate mixed/tofu guard, but the current manual's general restriction conflicts; plant/tofu litter is not treated as confirmed for matching.
Exact-model and package notesCore model CB01. The current gray app SKU is CB01BAU. The manufacturer selector also lists white app SKU CB01BWU and white app package options as unavailable at capture; preserve them as out-of-stock covered variants, not a stock promise. Standard-control CB01AAU/CB01AWU is a different app capability and has its own assessment.
Published size noteThe CB01 manual labels L × W × H as 22.05 × 23.03 × 21.97 inches. The manufacturer calls for a hard, level floor and 2–4 inches of clearance on all sides.
App setup noteOneisall's Pro listing identifies support for both Wi-Fi bands. The standard Ease S1 does not have a documented app connection; keep the Pro-only capability out of standard matching.
