Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does one purchase expressly include two automatic litter boxes?
Yes. The exact page title and U.S. product variant SKUs identify a Double Set / Litter Box Premium Set × 2; these are two separate machines.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the double package itself have a confirmed five-cat capacity rating?
No package-level cat capacity is published. Do not multiply the base-page 1–3 cat description or its conflicting four-cat FAQ into a set rating.
Explore this need in the finder →Can each included SNOW+ box use its documented app controls on 2.4 GHz, without assuming the two devices share records?
The base unit supports app activity and 2.4 GHz; the Double Set page does not establish a combined app screen or shared Pet IDs across the two boxes.
Explore this need in the finder →Two boxes in one package, not one larger box
PetSnowy's exact U.S. page calls this “Litter Box Premium Set × 2.” Its Classic package SKU is 01-08-07-8805 and Cream is 01-08-07-8806. Each offer contains two SNOW+ units—not one double chamber or a globe with a larger shared drawer. The ×2 product image is a marketing render, not a room-fit test.
Choose this instead of the single SNOW+ PS-001 when one order must include two boxes, perhaps for separate stations or floors. The exact page does not rate the set for a number of cats or specify which animals should use each unit.
Budget for two independent routines
Each SNOW+ measures 29.5 × 20 × 25.6 inches, with a 10-liter drawer and 83-liter interior. These are per-unit figures: reserve two footprints, drawer clearances and suitable power at both locations. No shared bin, synchronized cycle or combined drain is documented. Check, empty and clean each unit separately.
SNOW+ is designed around clumping clay. PetSnowy says smaller screen-passing silica crystals and some tofu/plant alternatives may work, but those alternatives bring caveats; non-clumping and loose-clumping litter and pellets are unsuitable. Choosing the Double Set does not make a different litter type safe. Both machines still need the same transition planning as the base model, including a familiar box until each cat is reliably using the new station.
The base machine's weight guide is 3.3–20 pounds. PetSnowy tells owners to disable automatic mode for a lighter kitten and start cleaning only when it is outside. The base page says one SNOW+ is for one to three cats, while its FAQ recommends up to four. That conflict is not multiplied into an unsupported six- or eight-cat rating for this set. If numeric cat capacity is essential, ask PetSnowy for written guidance on the exact package.
App features are per model, not a shared system
The PS-001 guide specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and each base unit has app controls and activity records. The Double Set page does not explain if the app joins both boxes in one view or combines weight-based Pet IDs across locations. No camera identification is documented. Set up two devices; do not assume a consolidated monitoring system without current confirmation.
Each box uses a four-minute default wait after exit, adjustable in the app. The maker's approximate emptying schedule—two weeks for one cat, weekly for two and twice weekly for three—is for a single box, not this package. Check both drawers separately. A visit log is not a diagnosis or a replacement for visual checks.
Exact-package evidence still leaves a few limits
The Classic and Cream package SKUs are distinct from the base single-box color SKUs. The Double Set page identifies the package quantity but does not list the exact quantity of every accessory, confirm if buyers can mix finishes within a pair, or promise that both units share settings. The base manual's fill limit also conflicts with the current support FAQ's approximate refill amount. Follow the MAX mark on each physical unit; if a manual and mark do not agree, contact PetSnowy for model- and serial-specific direction before filling either globe.
Each entry is described as 14.9 inches high and 9.05 inches long with the walkway; clear width and floor-to-ramp step remain unknown. Two boxes double equipment, not entry suitability. Measure the path and opening if mobility is a concern.
When the bundle belongs on a shortlist
Choose this package when one purchase must contain two boxes and your home can service both. The finder includes it when a two-unit purchase is essential, but a four-cat capacity choice excludes it because the rating is unknown. App and litter requirements still describe each base machine, not a shared system.
If one station is enough, compare the base SNOW+ assessment. The ScoopFree SmartSpin is another enclosed sifter but has different litter, Wi-Fi and emptying needs. A “Multi-Cat” title does not replace a numerical capacity rating.
Bottom line
The Double Set has a verified two-machine package identity and two exact finish SKUs. It can meet a two-station purchase need, but requires twice the space, power and upkeep. Treat its boxes as separate PS-001 units; do not double ratings, drawer intervals or controls by assumption.
