Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does this one exact package actually contain two automatic litter-box machines?
Yes. The exact Cumrige option SKU M2-M4-FBM and its page artwork identify two separate machines: Cumrige M2 and Cumrige M4.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the pair share a documented clumping-litter plan without adding its drawer volumes?
Each exact included model uses clumping litter, but the drawer volumes and care remain per device; the package does not combine their capacity.
Explore this need in the finder →Do two boxes establish a maker-rated two-cat household capacity or one shared app?
No package-level cat-count rating or shared app account is documented. A need for two stations is different from a numeric two-cat rating.

Cumrige’s M2 + M4 bundle is identified by the exact U.S. option SKU M2-M4-FBM. The maker’s image shows one M2 and one M4; they are two complete enclosed front-entry machines, not one oversized chamber. That matters for household planning: the package may serve separate rooms, floors or cat zones, but each device still needs its own level location, power outlet, drawer access and cleaning routine. The offer does not document a shared waste drawer or coordinated cycle.
Because both designs are enclosed, the bundle is most relevant to owners who already know their cats accept a covered entry. It does not offer a second style as a fallback. M2 has a touch panel with illuminated icons and a front-opening drum; M4 uses a simpler three-button panel. If control style is important, the set gives the owner two interfaces rather than a single standardized setup. A cat that dislikes a covered interior is not helped by receiving two similar covered entries.
Similar size class, distinct cat guidance
Both pages describe 95-liter rotating chambers and 15-liter sealed drawers. M2’s current page gives a roughly 19.69-by-21.65-inch footprint, 25.98-inch height and 9.84-inch entrance. It says M2 is best suited to cats around 16.5 pounds or less. M4’s official page lists about a 19.29-by-21.65-inch footprint, 25.59-inch height and the same 9.84-inch entry, but the FAQ recommends cats around 11 pounds or under because the enclosed interior limits turning room. Those are recommendations for each machine, not a combined 32.5-pound fit or an increased interior size.
M4 has a manufacturer-stated capacity up to three cats, but its drawer interval is shorter with more use. M2’s FAQ permits multi-cat use without giving a numerical household rating; its approximately two-week claim applies to one cat around 8.8 pounds. This package therefore cannot be called a six-cat bundle or assigned one emptying interval by adding two separate bins. Use the maker’s fit guidance for whichever station a cat must use and check both drawers according to real output.
Shared clumping routine; separate controls
Both machines are intended for clumping litter and app-connected features over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Their product pages describe sensor-based pauses and app usage updates; M2 also advertises waste recognition, while M4 gives more detail about a simple panel and an app cleaning delay. Do not infer a camera, veterinary monitoring, or individual-cat identification from generalized “health” language. If a 5 GHz-only network or crystal litter is essential, this two-box package is not the right documented plan.
M4’s manufacturer recommends low-dust clumping bentonite and a delay for clumps to form. M2’s FAQ calls for absorbent, low-dust clumping litter and excludes non-clumping crystals. That overlap is narrower than “any scoopable litter.” For one litter choice to serve both stations, choose a firm-clumping formula that fits the M4 guidance, and verify it against each current manual. Keep liquid away from both electronic bases and follow each model’s separate disassembly instructions; similar cabinets do not prove that removable parts or liners interchange.
Who should pass?
This package is for a home that wants two covered stations with different local-control interfaces and has room to service each one. It is less compelling when one unit would be enough, when an open-top fallback matters, or when the cats’ weight/age profile exceeds one of the machines’ guidance. A buyer wanting one covered and one open station can compare M2 + M5 or M2 + E. For a single machine, assess M2 versus M4 without paying for a second station you cannot use.
